Abstract(in English) We are developing a News On-Demand(NOD) system, which provides various styles of Multimedia News presentation that corresponds to user requirements. This paper describes the design of Scenario Database(SDB) that has two fundamental functions. First one is the news retrieval mechanism that supports choosing keywords by showing related terms automatically. Second is the news recomposition mechanism that generate new news presentation according to recomposing templates that is selected by users. We implement NOD system of technical news based on SDB.
