Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Video Hypermedia(VHM) is a model for non-linear video space in which video nodes are interrelated with hyper-links. Since a user of VHM navigates to search for preferable video nodes through the VHM space, we can make use of his navigational history to re-organize his experience, to help him or others understanding the VHM space structure, and so on. We therefore propose structural modeling of navigational history in VHM to realize these useful applications. To be able to manage navigational histories, we model them with structural way in which we split them at explicit or implicit intersections of user's navigation and store to re-use them according to applications. Finally, we introduce and discuss an application of navigational history management for walk-through style digital library.
