Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The Virtual Reality Modeling Language (VRML) allows you to describe 3D objects and combine them into scenes and worlds in real time on the Web. You not only can build your original virtual reality worlds. You can hyperlink your scene to other scenes or objects, and can incorporate models created by other people into your scene. Currently, it is difficult to search 3-D objects or scenes from the Web to your own taste. This paper describes a VRML Search Engine, which search by understanding contents of VRML files.
