Abstract(in English) The ultrasound transducer with double peak type frequency characteristics having peak at higher frequency side for transmission of ultrasound into the microbubble ultrasound contrast agents and peak at lower frequency side for detection of subharmonic components from microbubbles was designed by numerical calculation for subharmonic imaging. This transducer has the structure of the piezoelectric ceramic vibrator and subvibrating plate stacked on the backing. The frequency characteristics is realized by corresponding the λ / 2 resonant frequency of piezoelectric ceramic vibrator to the subharmonic frequency and corresponding the λ / 4 resonant frequency of subvibrating plate to the fundamental frequency.
