Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We propose the idea for a new ultrasonic transducer that generates an acoustic wave pulse with large amplitude. The concept of the transducer, made by a thickness mode piezoelectric resonator, is as follows:(1)Vibrating the resonator at the resonance frequency with no acoustic load. (2)Moving the resonator and stick it to the load. By the method, we can predict that the output acoustic power will be much larger than the conventional transducers used in a condition of low Q.
