Abstract(in English) | This paper deals with the ultrasonic motor using a bending B_<11>-B_<11'> mode disk having a cylinder-formed projection on its center portion;that is, the specific point of this ultrasonic motor is in that the cylinder-formed projection is used as a displacement magnification element. In the first part of this paper is described the concrete motor construction and its operation principle. The second part contains finite element method simulations of the vibrational characteristics of the disk-stator vibrator, and the third presents the measured characteristics of the motor trially made, depending upon the simulated results. |
