Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Dispersion relation of hollow cylindrical guided wave (Cylindrical wave)was evaluated theoretically and experimentally. Interesting relations between Lamb and Cylindrical waves (L(0, 1) and F(1, 1) modes) were also shown. Experimentally, wide-band cylindrical waves were generated using laser-ultrasonic method. Wavelet transform of the cylindrical wave signals was utilized for time-frequency analysis to compare with the theoretical dispersion. The lowest flexural mode of F(1, 1) was efficiently generated rather than axi-symmetric L(0, 1)mode.
