Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We have developed a simultaneous measuring system which is able to detect the Maxwell displacement current (MDC) and second harmonic generation (SHG) of Langmuir films. This system enables us to study the linear and nonlinear dielectric property of monolayers on a water surface. In this report, we examined 5CB monolayers using this system.
