Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The acoustic characteristics in biological tissues provides important diagnostic and treatment planning information. In this paper,we present sound speed distribution of heart and kidney tissues change with time and the physical change in preserved tissues using precise measurement technique for sound speed distribution. In heart tissues,we observed that the sound speed of heart tissue with coagulation necrosis was lower than normal one and the sound speed of coagulation necrosis with hemorrhage was higher than normal one.In kidney tissues,we found that the sound speed in the cortex was 10 - 20 m, s faster than speed in the medull and the sound speed in kidney was changing in progress of glycerol-induced acute renal failure.
