Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper reports a parallel finite element analysis of thickness-shear vibration mode of small size AT-cut quartz resonators. In general, the scale of the analysis of the thickness-shear mode will be extremely large. For such analyses, we developed analysis system driving multiple processors in parallel. We simulated the energy trapping and frequency-temperature characteristic of resonators by the system. We also produced resonators on the basis of the finite element analysis and compared the characteristic with that by the finite element analysis.
