Abstract(in English) Both fast and slow longitudinal ultrasonic waves traveling through human radius in vivo were observed. In both time and frequency domain, waves traveling through osteoporotic subjects and througth normal subjects were clearly identified. In addition, a model of ultrasonic propagation path in human radius for both fast and slow waves was suggested to simulate the ultrasonic wave spectrum. The simulated spectra were in reasonable agreement with the observed wave spectra.
