Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper deals with the piezoelectric vibratory gyro-sensor using a L1-F2 double mode rectangular bibrator. This sensor is set to use at right angle to axis of the angular velocity to measure. Therefore the specific merits of this sensor are to be constructed as a thinner form than usual gyro-sensors, and low cost to produce because of its simple construction. In the first part of this paper, are described the structure of this vibratory gyro-sensor and its principle of operation. The second part contains the experimental resulst of prototype gyro-sensors made of piezoelectric ceramics and quartz crystal.
