Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Epoxy resin has been used in the large field of engineering, for example, insulation and adhesive layers. The elastic properties of adhesive layers, however, have not been hardly investigated before. In addition, the final properties of cured layers, are closely related to the curing process. The investigation of elastic properties of curing resins, therefore, become very important to know the final properties of cured resins. In this study, We have evaluated the elastic properties of epoxy adhesive layers during cure by measuring ultrasonic wave velocity and attenuation in the GHz region.
