Abstract(in English) An ultrasonic image restoration method based on the information criteria is considered and experimental results are reported.When examples of objects and their ultrasonic images are given, artificial neural networks enable us to construct the optimal image restoration method.Strictly speaking,it is not ensured that the optimal model of artificial neural networks is chosen based on the information criteria.However,it is shown by the expertimental results that almost optimal model can be chosen using AIC,or MDL.
