Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A quartz-resonator gas sensor has an output of frequency change due to mass loading. In addition to resonant frequency change,Q of the resonator also varies because of viscoelastic effect. However, it is impossible to measure Q variation by a conventional oscillation circuit. Here, the circuit based upon motional admittance method has been developed for measuring both Q and resonant frequency variations. The circuit behavior was quite different from that of the oscillation circuit in case of large Q variation, and it was confirmed that this circuit was useful.
