Measuring Technique of Acoustic Characteristics of Inhomogeneous Medium with Improved Spatial Resolution

Abstract(in English) The acoustic characteristics in biological tissues provides important diagnostic and treatment planning information.In this paper,the technique for the improvement of resolution on the measurement of distribution of acoustic characteristics in tissues is presented.The components of multipath propagation in tissues are decomposed in complex plane.The distribution of sound speed is estimated from weighting average of the components processed by spatial inverse filter.The precise measurement of sound speed distribution in tissues is performed using this technique.
