Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The authors have been striving to develop an ultrasonic motor with good caractaristics. In this case, the calculation methods for resonance frequencies which are very close to the measured one,is important to construct the motor. In this paper, resonance frequencies and mode patterns of actual stator vibrators in longitudinal or torsional vibrations are investigated by the transmission line simulation, and the calculated frequencies are compared with the measured values. The simulations in case that the inner bolt of a langevin type stator vibrator is considered to be an independent transmission line are done, and then the frequencies are compared with the ones of the stator vibrator which is merely assumed to be a composite transmission line having different material constants in the inner bolt and the outside metal block. The result is that the calculated method dealt with here can be appliedto determin the resonance frequencies and mode patterns of the stator vibrator with practically sufficient accuracy.
