Elastic and Piezoelectric Constants of LiTaO_3 Determined by SAW Velocities

Abstract(in English) The elastic and piezoelectric constants of LiTaO_3 were determined by velocities of surface acoustic waves (SAW). Velocities were measured from many apple frequencies caused by electrical direct coupling with SAW delayline response.Ten different cuts of LiTaO_3 substrates,those surface were electrically free or shorted,were for the measurement.The elastic and piezoelectric constants including temprature dependence were calculated by Newton′s iterative nemerical meathod and were found to be in good agreement will experiments.These values are useful to oftaine the better cuts for saw devices.
