Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Vibration-level characteristics of electro-mechanical properties in various PZT family piezoelectric ceramics were studied using a constant current control method. Young's modulus Y^E_0 and mechanical dissipation factor Q^<-1>_m are proportional to the square of vibration velocity. When the vibration velocity reaches a certain value, the resonator temperature sharply goes up and the vibration velocity is saturated. The saturated vibration velocity depends on the material compositions and the acceptor doping is effective to increase the velocity. The heat generation is assumed to be caused by the dissipated vibration power.
