Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper describes a development of tomography equipments for measuring ocean phenomena in the 1000km range in real time basis. A 200Hz giant magnetostrictive source was developed to increase the transmitting level and decrease the source size. Two 200Hz transceiver systems were constructed using this source. Received signal by the hydrophone array is processed for beamforming, cross correlation and peak detection etc. in the transceiver. This system has a surface buoy for real-time data transmission via the INMARSAT-C.
