Lame Mode Quartz Crystal Resonators with Zero Temperature Coefficients

Abstract(in English) This paper describes the Lame-mode quartz crystal resonators which belong to trigonal system. In this paper, the conditions for excitation of Lame-mode, frequency temperature behavior and electrical characteristics are c1arified for the quartz crystal resonators. Frequenry equations for systems of Y- and X-plates are, first, derived from an energy method. From these equations it is shown that there are cut angles φ_y, φ_x where give the first order temperature coefficient α=0. Next, the existence for Lame-mode is analyzed by the finite element method. Finally typical values of electrical equivalent circuit parameters are shown.
