Zero-crossing steps in a 3-junction SQUID controlled by RF magnetic flux

Abstract(in English) We propose a new operation method of a three-junction SQUID (3J-SQUID). By utilizing two RF signals with phase difference of π/2, we can control the quantum transitions in the 3J-SQUID even at zero biasing state. We present analytical and numerical results of the operation. A relatively large zero-crossing step is numerically demonstrated. Our test plan using a Nb technology is also presented. In the final section, we briefly discuss the analogy between the 3J-SQUID and a single-electron pump.
