Abstract(in English) | We have investigated a Josephson relaxation oscillation for application to clock generator of RSFQ circuits. The size of a relaxation oscillator is relatively small because of the simple construction. The frequency range of a relaxation oscillator made of Nb junctions, whose critical current density is 2.5kA/cm^2, is as wide as from 1.5GHz to 83.3GHz. An experimental circuit including a relaxation oscillator, a Josephson transmission line and SFQ/DC converter fabricated by using a Nb Josephson junction technology has demonstrated the proper oscillation. |
