Investigation of optical magnetic flux generation in superconductive YBCO strip

Abstract(in English) Previously we reported about the magnetic flux generation in YBCO superconductive loop by femtosecond pulsed laser irradiation. In present study, to investigate the possibility of the magnetic flux generation in superconducting strip line, and to find out the relation between the laser beam power profile and the distribution of the generated magnetic fluxes, magnetic flux generation was tried in a YBCO strip line of 400 μm in width. Central part of the strip line was patterned into the ordered array of holes with a diameter of 2μm at an interval of 4μm. Using this sample, several experimental condition were examined by changing the pulsed laser beam power and spot size. To image the magnetic flux distribution, we observe the terahertz radiation from the presistent supercurrent around the magnetic fluxes with use of a well established terahertz imaging system. As a result, it was found out that magnetic fluxes can be generated not only in a superconductive loop, but also in the strip line independently of the antidot arrays, and further found that the generated magnetic flux density and its distribution strongly depend on the power profile of femtosecond pulsed laser beam.
