Femtosecond optical response of Y dopping Bi2212 single crystal

Abstract(in English) Bi_2Sr_2Ca_<1-x>Y_xCu_2O_<8+δ> single crystals were grown by Traveling Solvent Floating Zone method. The crystallinity and the superconducting property of the single crystals were characterized by X-ray diffraction and in-plane resistivity measurements. Then we studied time-resolved pump-probe reflectivity measurement on the single crystals, and estimated the relaxation time of 20 ps and 5.6 ps for the crystals with x=0 and x=0.2, respectively. These show very long relaxation time, as compared to that of YBa_2Cu_3O_<7-δ> thin films, about 1.7 ps, in previous study. The obtained results well explain the electromagnetic wave radiation property of Bi-system.
