Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The filter responses of 2-pole bandpass filters(BPFs) fablicated by tapped λ/2 resonators are examined theoretically and experimentally under the condition that the positions of input/output(I/O) couplings and the interdtage coupling between resonators are changed. Firstly, the variations of the resonance responses of a λ/2 resonator under the choice of positions of I/O couplings and coupling elements are examined. Secondly, the improvement of spurious responses of the present BPF is performed under the special choice of coupling positions on the filter. Finally, the realization of the attenuation pole at each side of the passband and the improvement of spurious responses are performed by the BPF simultaneously. As a result, the effectiveness of the tap-coupling technique is confirmed for improving out-of-band characteristics of the λ/2 resonator BPF.
