A 190-300GHz Band SIS Mixer with an Inhomogeneous Distributed Junction Array

Abstract(in English) We have fabricated a 190-300GHz band Nb/AlOx/Nb SIS mixerwith an inhomogeneous distributed junction array and measured the mixing properties by the measurement of the noise temperature and Fourier transform spectroscopy (FTS). The fabricated inhomogeneous distributed junction array has consisted of five-junctions, with different dimensions and spacings between every two junctions located on a superconducting stripline, and the critical current density of the fabricated junction is 3100A/cm^2. Detailed measurements of the receiver noise have been made in the frequency range from 190GHz to 284GHz. In the frequency range from 202 to 284GHz, the receiver noise temperature of 47-85K(DSB) has been obtained, which is in good agreement with FTS response as a function of frequency.
