Abstract(in English) | This paper proposes the novel ternary logic circuits using the chaotic oscillations produced in SQUIDs. It is well known that SQUIDs generate chaos phenomenon because Josephson device has strong non-linear characteristics. It is analyzed in relation with external flux what kind of oscillations appear in positive and negative biased SQUIDs. Based on these results, we designed a ternary logic circuit utilizing chaotic oscillations. In this system the positive and negative current through the load resistance are made to correspond to logic "1" and "1^^-" respectively, while the periodic and subharmonic oscillations to a logic "0". In this paper we describe the novel circuit of the ST AND logic. The simulation results show that the logic circuit performs the satisfactory operation. |
