Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper proposes the novel ternary logic circuits using the chaotic oscillations produced in SQUIDs. It is well known that SQUIDs generate chaos phenomenon because Josephson device has strong non-linear characteristics. It is analyzed in relation with external flux what kind of oscillations appear in positive and negative biased SQUIDs. Based on these results, we designed a ternary logic circuit utilizing chaotic oscillations. In this system the positive and negative current through the load resistance are made to correspond to logic "1" and "1^^-" respectively, while the periodic and subharmonic oscillations to a logic "0". In this paper we describe the novel circuit of the ST AND logic. The simulation results show that the logic circuit performs the satisfactory operation.
