Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A hemispherical-type Fabry-Perot resonator has been successfully developed in order to measure electrical properties of high-Tc superconducting devices at the millimeter wave region. The Fabry- Perot resonator is constructed from a spherical mirror and a plane mirror on the cold head of the refrigerator with controlled temperature of 40 to 300 K.It was confirmed that the Q value of 33800 at 297.5 K changes with temperature. This means that the surface resistance of the plane mirror changes with temperature. It was confirmed that the millimeter wave measurement system is suitable for estimating the surface resistance of the high-Tc superconducting thin films and the sensitivity of the high-Tc superconducting millimeter wave detector.
