Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) High temperature superconductors are eminently suitable for use in high frequency devices because of their large energy gap.We fabricated weak link Josephson array junctions to improve microwave coupling between junctions and an RF source, because the normal state resistance of a single grain boundary junction is low for high frequency devices.EuBa_2Cu_3O_7-x>,epitaxial films on MgO bicrystal substrates were pattened into a 20μm wide meander li ne across the bicrystal boundary, forming a series junction array. The normal state resistance increases linearly as a function of the junction number. The microwave broadband detection output of a7 junction array was 10-20 times larger than that of a single junction.
