Abstract(in English) The X-band mixing performance of some step-edge junctions using Y_1Ba_2Cu_3O_7-x> films has been evaluated.Within the range of 10゜θ30゜ of the step angle,Josephson mixing was successfully obse rved.The mixinag conversion efficiency(η) depends predominantly on normal resistance (Rn),because of the need for impedance matching between 50Ω microstrip signal line and the junction.Under constant impedance conditions,the higher the IcRn product is,the creater the conversion efficiency.But in the range of 12GHz,the efficiency tends to be saturated above about 1mV as IcRn product,by our simulation on the basis of resistively shunted junction (RSJ) model.
