Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We report on a theory concerning electromagnetic absorption of a layered structure superconductor. We adopted a model for the superconductor which includes two superconductive layers sandwiched between other non-superconductive layers.Electron pairings as described by the BCS theory are assumed as a superconductive state on the supercontductive layers. We let non- pairing electrons transfer among those layers. This model shows the existence of a non-zero electron density of states even below the gap energy Δ.Owing to these states, this system can absorb energy f rom the electromagnetic field of an angular frequency ω at low tem perature even if 【planck's constant】ω<Δ.The calculation of the absorption includes coherence factors like the BCS theory in an improved form relating to the layered structure.
