Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper proposes to create Petri net devices by using single-flux-quantum circuits. The Petri net is a graphical method for modeling and analyzing asynchronous concurrent systems. To develop a novel information-processing device, the authors here present an idea for relating the concept of the Petri net with the single-flux-quantum transport. That is single-flux-quantum Petri net device. Sample device designs are presented for various Petri net structures. Computer simulation shows that the designed devices perform the Petri net operation correctly.
