Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Superconducting patch antenna is expected to be convenient for practical use due to its possibility of being cooled by cryocooler and integrated to other superconducting microwave devices. However, power handling capability is one of the most important problems to make practicable superconducting microwave devices. This paper discusses the facts that power handling capability of superconducting patch antenna varies with the film quality, and gap-coupling fed patch antenna is expected to have the power handling capability that is more than four times larger than that of conventional direct fed patch antenna. It also reports the effect of configuration on antenna propaties that is on resonance frequency, input impedance and gain.
