Abstract(in English) | High-temperature superconducting microwave filters are now applied to practical field investigations for mobile communications. It is well known that RE-123 (RE is a rare earth such as Nd, Sm, Eu, Gd) is a similar supercondutor as Y-123 deeply investigated so far. In the case of using Nd as a rare earth element, the film surface of Nd-123 is more stable than Y-123, but a part of trivalent Nd ions tend occupy divalent Ba ion site because of large ionic radius of Nd. Therefore, we report the microwve surface resisitances as a function of X for Nd1_<+x>Ba2_<-x>Cu307_d films deposited on MgO subsrate. |
