Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A hemispherical open resonator with a Nb spherical mirror has been developed in order to measure surface resistance of high-Tc superconducting films with improved measurement sensitivity at 100 GHz band.Measured surface resistance of the spherical mirror, which was machined from a Nb rod and mechanically polished, was 70 m Ω at 100 GRz and 4.2 K and expected improvement in measurement sensitivity has not been obtained. Measured surface resistance of a copper disk by this resonator showed good agreement with values in literature. It has been shown that temperature of a superconducting sample can be varied from 4. 2 K to at least 80 K with keeping temperature of the Nb mirror at 4.2 K.
