Flat and Lateral Y-Ba-Cu-O Josephson Junctions Fabricated by Focused Ion Beams

Abstract(in English) Here we report on microwave and magnetic field characteristics of a reproducible YBa_2Cu_3O_7-δ>(YBCO)Josephson junctions on MgO substrates fabricated by a focused Ga ion beam(FIB)with its narrow(>50nm)diameter.Ic x Rn products can be controlled by the Ga ion doses in the FIB-damaged MgO substrate region.Shapiro-steps for microwave frequencies and Fraunhofer pattern of Ic modulations by applied magnetic fields were observed as a function of Ic x Rn product,and Ic,respectively.High Ic x Rn product=60mV(Ic=6.0mA,Rn= 10Ω)have been obtained,which means that superconducting pair poten tials on both sides of this ion-beam-damaged area can be assumed to be lowered less than those of the previously reported YBCO junctions.
