Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) THz radiation excited by irradiation of femtosecond laser pulses was greatly enhanced for a bow-tie antenna device compared to a dipole antenna device. The maximum radiation power emitted into free space was obtained obtained 0.5μW with combination of the bow-tie antenna and a MgO hyper hemispherical lens. THz pulses has a half width of half maximum 0.44ps and its spectrum extends above 3THz. It is revealed that the bow-tie antenna and MgO hyper-hemispherical lens are effective to enhance the radiation power.
