Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We have fabricated and characterized all-thin film Nb-constrictions-NbN Superconducting point contacts, and measured low-frequency voltage noise power spectral density. The quasiparticle conductance is based on retro-reflection of incident electron (i.e., Andreev reflection) at Superconductor (S)-Normal-Metal (N) interfaces. The experimental result was compared with the Liu and Yamamoto theory [Phys. Rev. B 50, 17411 (1994)]. Especially, we take notice of the crossover from thermal to shot noise behavior, and of the temperature dependence of the crossover voltage. In this paper, we also show a phenomenological expression of voltage noise power spectral density from ballistic to dissipative regime in superconducting constrictions.
