Abstract(in English) | Using high-Tc grain boundary Josephson junctions (GBJJs) made of YBa_2Cu_3O_<7-δ> (YBCO) deposited across Si bicrystal boundary, we successfully demonstrated direct response at 2.525THz up to 70K. Radiation from a far infrared (FIR) laser was coupled to the junction, via an extended hyperhemispherical Si lens. Also, the effects of response on external magnetic field and polarization of electromagnetic wave have been investigated, as well as the harmonic mixing properties. |
