Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A new configuration is proposed for the SQUID and pickup coils of direct-coupling-type high-Tc SQUID magnetometers. The proposed magnetometer has two pickup coils per SQUID, and each pickup coil occupies half the area of the substrate, divided by the bicrystal line. The structure of the pickup coils was optimized by using an analogous model to maximize the effective area of the magnetometer, which is made in a limited substrate area. Longitudinal and transverse type SQUIDs were fabricated with various self-inductances and their performances and coupling coefficients with pickup coils were compared.
