Investigation of bandpass filter using TM_<01δ>-mode dielectric rod resonators loaded in a high-T_c superconducting cylinder

Abstract(in English) Two narrow-bandwidth bandpass filters with a center frequency 12GHz and 3dB bandwidth 36MHz, constructed by loading two TM_<01δ> mode dielectric rod resonators in a high-T_c superconducting cylinder, are designed. In these filters, BMT ceramic rods of ε_r=24 are used as dielectric resonator, BPSCCO and YBCO cylinders are used as high-T_c superconductor. For a the TM_<01δ> dielectric resonators the unloaded Q values are 90,000 for the BPSCCO cylinder and 140,000 for the YBCO cylinder at 30K. For these filters the insertion losses are measured at below 0.2dB for the BPSCCO cylinder and below 0.1dB for the YBCO cylinder.
