Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The success of a software development over the computer network such as the Internet depends on the continuous effort to remove the bugs as soon as possible, and to release the stable version of the software. However, it is difficult to find where the developers should correct the lines of source codes or documents, because the bugs are usually reported by users of the software that are not always familiar with the design and the implementation of the software. In this paper, we present a support system for software developers to gather the obscure reports of bugs efficiently from such users, and to find the bugs by using the communication histories among the developers such as logs of mailing lists, and the version histories of source codes and documents. We develop its prototype system on a Web based client-server environment.
