Abstract(in English) Agent-based simulation is one of promising approaches to understand and design complex socio-economical systems. U-Mart is a research program of providing economists and computer scientists with an open type artificial market, i.e., agent-based simulation system of a financial market as a test bed for interdisciplinary study. This paper overviews aims, activities, achievements and future plan of the U-Mart program.
