Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | The explosion of online information has become one of the most significant problems facing information suppliers and requesters of the Internet's World Wide Web and other database systems. For example, this causes that information requested by a user is blocked unintentionally by other information loaded by many suppliers who want to push it to other requesters. Matchmaking is a process for mediating information requesters and suppliers based on profile information to organize WWW-communities having the same interests or objectives automatically. In this paper, we propose a framework for developing WWW applications providing the matchmaking services. The framework FAIMA (Framework for Agent-based Information Matchmaking Applications) consists of User Interface Device, User agents, SR agents (Supplier/Requester agents) and Agent Matchmaking Place. |
