| Abstract(in English) | This paper describes an overview of two sorts of applications of Simulated Breeding, a type of Interactive Evolutionary Computing. One is SBART for drawing abstract Computer Graphics, and another is SBEAT for composing short musical pieaces. These systems support the user to create his/her favorite products by means of Artificial Selection. What he/she has to do is only to select individuals among shown candidates. It has multi-field user interface to enhance the diversity of production. In SBEAT, selecting favorite piece among scores displayed on the screen, the user listens to the sounds and decides which should be the parents to reproduce offsprings in the next generation. Embedding some domain specific functions, we can build a useful tool to make it easier for a beginner to create his/her favorite drawings and music pieces. |
