Abstract(in English) In this paper, we report the Wireless local network which is constructed in Kainan Town, Tokushima prefecture by way of Multimedia Pilot Town project by Telecommunications Advancement Organization of Japan(TAO), and its experimental results.The system is hybrid network using bridge and router type transceiver, and it has some good features from the view point of cost and speed.From the performance test of speed and application, using the high speed bridge type transceivers at the main line and the router type ones from the relay node to the end, the network shows that the throughput is greater than ISDN without trouble and the applications of protection against calamities such as Weather sensor, Observation camera and the others are available in practice.
