Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) With the development of information infrastructure, computers are widely used in education. Meanwhile more and more electronical learning contents are required in computer-based educational systems. Therefore it is important and urgent to establish a methodology for building learning contents and reusing them. There are two kinds of knowledge which can be used for building the learning contents, they are, principle knowledge of concepts which compose the field being modeled, and empirical knowledge which captures rationality of the design. Our research goal is to make precise-knowledge of learning contents design explicitly, and systemize it as an ontology and design patterns from the engineering viewpoints. As a first step, we discuss the basic issues on ontology and design pattern which play a fundamental role of learning contents design.
