Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Large scale distributed processing system will be an important infrastructure for fields of human activities in the future networked society. It is difficult for distributed processing system which is developed by ordinary design methodology to cope with the situation that change of user requirements, system troubles and unstable environment.A flexible system can cope with such situation, that system is developed based on agent-oriented paradigm.Agent-oriented paradigm is being watched with keen interest concerning developing flexible information systems. This paper first describes the "ADIPS" which is a multi-agent model. Next,an agent description language which is called "ADIPS, L" is proposed to provide a programing language to implement ADIPS.
