Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) It is important for the Intelligent CAI system to have an understanding which is equal to that of students in order to describe domain knowledge, teach problem solving method and dliagnose students′ utterances. We have researched a framework of s ystem whose domain is English grammar, and the domain knowledge is made not to depend on a specific problem solving. We have found problems in the system as follows;(1)Processes related to information of word order are particularly more complex than the other processes. They are ad hoc and doesn′t Keep the,uniformity.(2 )Load to pick up information to be referred to during a process is generally large. In this paper, reflecting the above problems,we state requests to the English grammar model and propose a knowledge representation method which satisfies them and describe how to realize the system which interprets questions from a student by using the method.
